Author of the novels: Morfina (2012), Drach (2014), Król (2016) [The King of Warsaw (2020)], Królestwo (2018), Pokora (2020), Chołod (2022), Powiedzmy, że Piontek (2024), Null (2025) and of the play Byk (2022). His books have sold over a million copies to date. Honoured with many awards, including Paszport Polityki, Nagroda im. Kościelskich, Brücke Berlin Preis, Śląski Wawrzyn Literacki, Nagroda Kulturalna Onetu O!Lśnienie, Nagroda Czytelników Nike, Nagroda im. K. Kutza and numerous nominations (including for the Nike, Gdynia and Angelus awards). The rights to his novels have been sold to more than a dozen countries.
Committed to helping Ukraine. More than two million zlotys were donated from the fundraisers he organised for military equipment and vehicles for the Ukrainian army. He lives in Pilchowice in Upper Silesia.
